Orgasm Parity
The Challenge
Imagine a world where mutual pleasure isn’t a mystery but something natural and shared. This thesis gets to the heart of the orgasm gap in long-term relationships, uncovering cultural misconceptions, educational gaps, and overlooked opportunities. Through research, prototyping, and real-world testing, it explores how a physical or phygital product can enhance intimacy and communication. Blending science, design, and human connection, this project challenges outdated narratives and redefines pleasure. I will be working on this topic and presenting my findings at UID Talks on June 4th, marking the completion of my master’s degree in Advanced Product Design.
The orgasm gap is a systemic issue – 91% of men report orgasm during sex vs 39% of women.
